One of the hardest cards to make is a sympathy card. My dear friend recently lost her Dad and I wanted to send her a card to just let her know that I was thinking of her at this sad time. It’s like a virtual hug without having to speak and hopefully just lets them know that although there is nothing you can say that eases their pain, they are in your thoughts.
One of the most beautiful papers I think is Petal Promenade. I chose Mossy Meadow for the card base and teamed it with Calypso Coral which made the flowers “pop” more in the paper. Using some delightfully detailed laser paper I adhered an oval over that, stamped the flower image from Beautiful Promenade in versamark and covered it with silver embossing powder. Lastly, I coloured the flower with Petal Pink combo blends and embossed the sentiment in silver and added that to the card front.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
