We have some amazing kits both in our Holiday and Annual catalogues, so today I decided to make a few of them. Over the next couple of days I will show you a couple of examples of my way of changing up the cards.
The kits are a great way to stamp and assembling 20 Christmas cards quickly, they come will full instructions, everything to make the cards, 5 each of 4 designs, folded card stock and printed bases, envelopes (which have a gorgeous gold edge), die cut accents and backgrounds and green and champagne rhinestones jewels. Also available for purchase is the Timeless Tidings stamp set which matches the die cut accents for sentiments.
To change it up a little, I decided to make some cards but not follow the samples provided, just to see how they would look and to mix it up a bit. For the first one, I did add an extra item, and that was a black card bases. I fussy cut out the poinsettia and adhered it to the cardstock. I cut out another poinsettia but only cut the inner part of the flower this time. Then added dimensionals to give it a bit of height and jewels for a bit of sparkle. Finally, the sentiment was added with versamark and gold embossing powder.
I hope I have inspired you to craft today. Please leave me a comment below, I would love to hear from you.
